Hello Class,
I would like to say that my writing have greatly improved thanks to this class. I still have many problems with formatting and and spacing. But I think overall my writing has improved. Professionally, the people I wourk with have noticed that my writing is better. This alone is worth taking this class. As for changes I have made, the biggest thing is writing itself. Simply getting to practice these different kind of writing is huge for me. I have never been a big fan of writing as I am more of a people person. I would much rather be face to face. This still holds true for me. But I do feel much more comfortable with writing.
On a personal not, people should know that this class will help them in their professional life. You may not realize it now but taking this class is a step in the right direction. Thanks again to everyone that responded to my questions and forum posting this semester. I really do appreciate all of the feedback.

This class has helped my writing improve trememdously. I am very thankful for taking this class so that way I have learned a lot of useful information that I can now use it daily. This class has helped me prepare for my future and every day writing. My writing has improved to a whole other level, professionally. I feel my writing sounds better, looks better, and changes the way I think. Changing the way I think has changed the way I write and the way it’s overall appearance looks. I like to write in general but my grammer has never been the greatest, neither has punctuation. I feel as the semester moved forward, my grammer has improved and it is nearly perfect. If I can write a paper and have people profread it, I can do just fine, but one my own without help is more difficult.
This class was a huge success for me and helped me a lot. I can’t wait to take it with me in my future! Thank you class for listening, reading, and responding. It has been a a great experience.

Hi Class,
I have always enjoyed writing, and therefore always had a good feeling about writing. My ideas about business writing have evolved though. I now understand that the business style and context are very different from other writing forms and styles. All of the information that I have acquired throughout the class has changed the way that I write in a positive way. I am much more aware of my tone when writing, as well as watching my style of indirect verses direct formats. The lessons I have learned in this class have impacted the way I approach professional writing, and I am happy to say that these skills will be put to great use when I start my career.

I would say that my writing has improved greatly since the beginning of the semester. I am extremely more comfortable writing in college than I was before, and I am happy that I got the chance to improve my skills. I even like writing more than I did at the beginning of the semester, which says a lot. Not only am I grateful that I improved my writing, but I am also happy that I learned different formatting techniques. I am now comfortable creating a resumee and sending it out to potential employers. Also, I have learned the proper way to go about job denials, acceptance, and more.

Hello Class!
How bittersweet it is to be typing my last blog for this class! This class has taught me so much over the course of the semester and I will walk away with some of the most important skills I will need in the future. I had taken this class online before and it was a disaster. The assignments were ridiculous and I did not understand any of it. Therefore, coming into this class again I was a little hesitant on whether or not I would walk away with any new knowledge. I am so glad I took this class with Professor Young because I have learned so much. My favorite topic was the resume. I have made a resume before, but had to use a Microsoft template. It did not look very professional and I am pretty sure it was incorrect. Getting to learn how to create a resume from scratch really will benefit me in the future. I also enjoyed learning how to send follow up and thank you letters to those you interview with. It is a skill that I will always need.
This class is one of few that I will actually keep the textbooks to refer back to in the future. The books are very well written and explain the rules of writing very clearly. I also found all of the examples in the book to be very helpful when completeing the assignments. All in all, I am walking away from this class with not only a better understanding of professional writing, but also with an enjoyment of writing professionally.

Hello Class,
I think this class has provided so much for me. Not only in my writing skills, but also in my life. Some of the changes I have made in my writing is that I used to put commas where they were not needed. I think I thought in my head that people should pause there when reading my writing, but really it was not needed. Another thing that I have changed is that I used to know what I wanted to write in my head, but could not put it down on paper the way I wanted it and everything I wanted in it. Now I think my writing has all the information I want in it and it has a good flow. The thing I learned the most in this class is to keep everything short and sweet. I should not just add information because I need more length to my paper. I used to do that a lot in my papers especially in high school when we had to meet length requirements.
My feelings about writing has changed a little. I have always liked writing and most of my favorite classes were writing classes. I think that I have always been pretty good at writing, too. This class just made me like writing even more, it taught me more ways to improve my writing skills. This class will help me throughout college a lot. I enjoyed this class very much.

Hello Class,
I feel like I have leaned so much from this class. I thought I was an average writer before, but now after completing this course, I realize I still had much to learn and still do. I have changed in how I write an e-mail. There is so much that you have to know about how to keep an e-mail professional that I never knew about. Another thing I have changed is just regular letters. Whether it is thanking someone for a job opportunity or complaining about a product, I can now write that letter correctly while keeping it professional.
I have learned how writing is like an art. Everyone writes a little differently, but you still have to get the general message through clearly. It’s important that everyone knows how to write with e-communication growing so quickly. I learned more from this class than I originally thought I would. I loved it!

Hello, class,
My writing has improved slightly from taking this class. I still have trouble from time to time remembering the rules because there are so many. Some changes that I have made include writing in the “you viewpoint” and making sure my grammar/punctuation is correct. I will be referring to the awesome textbook for the rest of my educational, maybe even professional, career.
My feelings about writing really have not changed, to be honest. I still dread writing and do not feel confident about it. I have, however, felt empowered by Professor Young; she gave great feedback without criticism. A student needs all the positive and constructive feedback that they can get, especially about writing because it is so critical to our futures. My ideas about writing are clearer and less intimidating. I am very grateful to have taken this class!

I was so scared to write because of my grammar, structure and formatting. I love writing but no sharing it with others because I thought I would get a lot of critical negative feed back that would discourage me to not want to write.
With this class I know now that being perfect is not even possible, I just have to get my ideas on the paper, do the editing, and find the right effective tone and style so my voice can be heard. Chapter 2 was an amazing chapter to me it helped me out a lot, not to perfection but I know that I am on my way.
